An interview with Laurie Coughlin,
KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor
The heart of a yoga practice is learning to stay present to everything that unfolds, knowing that each experience is an opportunity to grow and fulfill the soul’s purpose in this lifetime. Using breath work, posture and meditation, yoga offers powerful teachings for how to live and to die.
Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is known by practitioners as the Yoga of Awareness, and it contains many insights on the experience of death and dying. Drawing on these teachings, Laurie’s interview explores:
- a yogic perspective on the different types of death
- how to prepare for death
- the journey the soul takes as we leave the physical body
